Or rather, what warbirds are currently under restoration to fly in the future?

Bill Greenwood's Spitfire and the Hurricane, of course, Special K, the PBJ-1J in Point Magoo, the Black Widow is going the be a flier, right? Is there a list somewhere? I can't seem to find a comprehensive one by searching WIX...I'm sort of looking for German aircraft, like an Bf110, or a He111, or a Ju88. But anything you can add to my list would be aesome! Has this been done? Am I boring youse guys? :P

Lots of Luftwaffe stuff. A Fw190F for Collings, with a Dora to follow. Bf109 for Yagen, plus a 190D to follow. Another 109 in UK (fuselage) and Germany. A Storch in Norway, another Storch (ex-IWM Duxford) going to Germany. Always something going on with FHC, not sure of the current status of the 262 since they yanked it from Gosshawk, or their rumoured Stuka. Buchon at Planes of Fame. Original ex-Spanish 109E at Meier Motors in Germany.

The 2-seater Zero flew earlier this year Inspector. It has flown several times at FHC fly-days.

You're right, I forgot as it seemed to have been nailed to the hanger floor for so long.

Hopefully the TSWM's P-40M will be back in airworthy condition by the end of 2013. (The oil cooler and radiator were just crated up to be sent back to New Zealand.) Sometime after that our FG-1D and Flug Werk Fw-190 as well.

A few more to add:

P-40K at Warhawks Inc./Fagen Fighters (flying next year maybe?)
Helldiver at Warhawks Inc. (not aware of the status)
P-51D Sierra Sue II at Aircorps Aviation
SBD and Helldiver at Vulture's Row
Hawker Hurricane at JNE (goal is to be flying by the end of next year)
Hawker Tempest at Pioneer Aero
Hawker Tempest and Brewster Corsair at Ezell's

Also, although not a recent restoration, Kermit Weeks' B-25 Apache Princess will be flying again soon, having been conducting engine runs and taxi tests lately.

The CAF Avenger that has been restored by Jack Kosko is likely to be flying soon. The fuselage and tail surfaces are now at Hagerstown, with the wings following after the first of the year. Hopefully, we'll get some decent breaks in the weather to get the bird back together and into its flight testing and certification.

A few more to add that I didn't see:

The two P-38s at Wespac. As I recall, one is being done for FHC. Not sure about the other.

I was told by a docent that the Tennessee Museum of Aviation is considering getting their F-86 airworthy. Not sure if that's in the immediate future or not. They also have an L-5 under restoration to airworthy. I have also heard rumors that the museum has either one or possibly two Hellcats under restoration somewhere.

Not really a major restoration, but Western North Carolina Aviation Museum is working on a Stampe SV-4C.

Legend of Aces in MI is working on a couple Yale's and Yesteryear Aviation is working on an SNJ.

ARC at Duxford is working on a Blenheim, Lysander and Firefly.

CAF Dixie Wing P-63 looks like its progressing nicely.

In the UK, there are Hurricanes G-ROBT and G-HITT with Hawker Restorations at Milden, along with an S.E.5a. Blenheim, Lysander and OV-10 with ARCo at Duxford, and several Spitfires (including a I and XI) with Historic Flying Ltd in the other half of the same hangar as ARCo. Ex-Greenpeace PBY at North Weald, Walrus at Audley End, Gannet at St Athan, several Spitfires at Biggin Hill, Proctors at Great Oakley.

F4U-5NL at La Ferte Alais. Lots of airframes at Meier Motors in Germany.

VFM's Aeronca L-3 Defender

"Flyable" now, but with some issues to be worked out:
