Thanks for the link to the update Dan.
It's a very exciting time, to think of all the amazing twin engine warbirds, that are being returned to flying status in the not too distant future.
Picture this line up;
-Twin Mustangs
-P-61
-Mosquito
-P-38's
-Bolingbroke
-A bunch of B-25's and A-26's (don't want them to feel left out  )
-Marauder
-Havoc
-Anson
-Beaufort
-Harpoon

I know i've missed a bunch. C'mon WIXers, play along. It's fun! :drinkers: :supz:

Who's restoring a Marauder to flight status? AFAIK the only current restorations are Pima and MAPS, both static. Kermit's has been hangared for over a decade, and he hasn't mentioned any intentions of flying it.

My bad on the Marauder.
Maybe too much wishful thinking :D
I forgot to mention Tigercats!

Thank goodness we have dedicated and talented craftsmen that are bringing these old birds back to life....and into the sky!

Believe me, I'd love to see a flying Marauder as well..I was fortunate enough to see Kermit's fly once, when he dropped in unannounced at "Warbirds Over Kalamazoo" back in '98 or '99. That's not to say I'm denigrating the static restorations in progress..I applaud the efforts of anyone to preserve warbirds whether flying or in museums.
