Yes, Chris is a superb Communicator, and he's in his element -- doing hard science during the day, and passing along his feeling of wonderment and awe in his off-hours in the evening.
I love the Kirk-Sulu-Nimoy dialogue that's happened. I remember Chris and I discovering Star Trek in about 1967. We thought it was the coolest thing ever created, and could hardly wait to rush off the school bus and warm up the ancient TV we had then -- it wasn't until the '70s that I learned the show was in Colour.
Chris is also a warbird pilot -- he flies Hawk One, the VWoC F-86 (for those who didn't see the other thread).
