This arrived a couple of weeks ago. On loan from Rick Sharpe's Vietnam War Flight Museum.

Earlier this week one of the Houston TV stations came down to Galveston for a report on the Cobra:

I saw this in storage at the Olympia airport last year. It was in a hangar with two other Cobras.

Does it fly?

And not to nit-pick or state the obvious, if it's from the Vietnam Flight Museum, it's a bit young for that war. :)

Yes, it is airworthy. It flew to Gaveston a couple of weeks ago. The data plaque at the museum indicates this was a trainer version and never saw action in Vietnam.
