Angel was one. I have some pics of it there before Merle got her. I think there's a list of the BuNo.s that could be crossreferenced.

There was an article some years ago, either in Warbird International or Air Classics regarding the Corsairs. From what I recall, the vast majority of the Blythe airframes are still extant. IIRC, one of them ended up being one of the "Baa Baa Black Sheep" Corsairs.

I've heard that Hardwick had as many as three P-38s at POM...but I only saw one when I photo'd N79123 in May 1964...

Sounds like he was an interesting guy. The POF P-38 (I believe) came from there.
