A privately owned former RAAF Bloodhound missile once used beside famous RAAF Sabre and Mirage fighters to help defend Australia, has now been acquired by a aviation museum in Queensland - the Queensland Air Museum to be put on public display sometime in 2013. This will help the missile be seen by more people and will also help educate people to the role of SAMs and RAAF fighters in the 1960s.

See my story on my mates "little" missile - http://philbuckleytravels.wordpress.com ... er-part-1/

Part 2 will have more photos hopefully showing the missile moved from SA to NSW and then to QAM.
