In 1944 Harry Moyer stood under the wing of a B-29 in Cheng Tu China and the crew invited Harry inside to see the cockpit. Harry said “No way am I getting in that big thing!”. Well 70 years later he did. Harry did his best to keep those crews alive in China flying cover in his P-40N. When the USAAF brought him home he trained B-29 crews in battle tactics by “attacking” them in a P-63.

Harry is the best drinking buddy in the world. I was the finance guy for the CAF SoCal wing for two years so when I heard the '29 was coming in I gave Harry a call and...try to hold him back! :drinkers:

Best,

Jason
