It was faded when I was there in '99, obviously it has been repainted now. Don't know the origin of the scheme however.

I had only seen the first shot of it sitting out in the weeds. And did hope someone had shot a side view of it. This is how my 1/72 Aeroteam Yak-11 model kit will eventually look! Thanks for posting them! And, if there is a Yak-11 owner out there looking for a new scheme for his a/c, why not consider this???

Note that the new scheme is missing the number on the rudder????

Yeah, I noticed it went from four digits to three! Must have ran out of masking tape!
