Found this picture while going through my archives. Not being a flying boat expert, I'm guessing this is a Boeing built clipper. Anyone out there know the specifics of the airplane???

So is this a Boeing, Martin or Rawdon? This is clearly pre-war with the PAA logo. 2600s---really?

B-314, as in Boeing 314.

Note the small wing-shaped thingie under the wing, it is a feature carried only by the Boeings, Martin flying boats had wing tip floats.

Can't be 2600s. 4 of them would have the entire airplane covered in oil.

You're absolutely right, Jack. They were especially selected for the additional anticorrosion protection needed for saltwater operations ! :lol:
