I am looking for a pneumatic tailwheel & tire for the Sikorsky Memorial Corsair. If anyone has one or knows of one we can acquire (non airworthy is fine) please reach out to me. We would love to find a used set of tires as well for the main gear if anyone has a painr in the back of the hangar

The B-52 tip gear use the same size as the Corsair mains I believe. You might be able to hunt down some used ones. As I recall they are still in pretty good serviceable condition when they are replaced... or at least they used to be back in the 90s.

Drew,
What size tire are on the mains and do you have a p/n for the tail wheel? Was the tail wheel a solid rubber tire bonded to an aluminum / magnesium wheel?

Drew,
The tires are the same as go cart tires, and cargo 747 upper deck "spin" wheels.
I have a stack of them marked "unairworthy". I will send you a couple.

Tiger Moth,
The mains are 32x8.8. We are using the ww2 magnesium spoke wheels. We are not looking for the carrier wheel hard rubber bonded to an aluminum hub. We're looking for a regular tube and tire Tailwheel. I can't find a part number in our books. I want to say the shaft is pretty big 1 5/8in if I recall.
