Seymour-Johnson does indeed, have a guard-controlled access. I do not know how they operate, but in other similar locations, you can obtain a visitor's pass (they will ask for full i.d. and proof of auto insurance) and then visit the airplane's location.
Re: AH-64s, it's been a while since I was there, and memory is fuzzy but location should be on the East-North-East side of the field, where the Air National Guard unit is based. The AH-64s were not on display, but parked outside of their hangar.
Again, access was limited (this was pre- 9/11) since it is an operational unit.
