A weird, and hilariously dated title, but hey, gold is gold. Lots of other stuff in this set; makes me wonder who this guy was, and what happened to his collection? Baugher only reports that 42-102800 went to the RFC at Atlus.

A fascinating character to be sure..never heard of him before. I was trying to figure out what the heck he was doing in that pic in the waist of the B-17, but the article explains it. Does anyone know the type of aircraft referred to as a "Yankee Clipper" in the article? I'm assuming probably a PBY.

No, it was one of the last Boeing 314 Clippers - I asked about it in a thread a while back. It was raised and scrapped.
