Looks like a Consolidated PT-11D.

#555 is the same bird(and photo) in the ID photo in Faheys's US Army Aircraft 1908-1946 that I used as the reference! :lol:

That explains everything. It looks more like a model 75 than the cloudboy and had the same wheels as th NS-1 that I was stuck on Stearman?

I've been wondering what that was! I found that photo in an 1938 Randolph Field yearbook online:
