I’m looking for good copies of the following Gunsight manuals ; so if anybody can help !

- USAAF K-8, K-9,K-10 & K-11 compensating Gunsights manuals
- USAAF Lynn L-3 Gunsight
- USN Aircraft Sight system Mk. 1 (OP 1670)
- USN Illuminated Sight Mk 20 (OP 1671)
- USN Aircraft Fire Control Systems Mark 5 Mod. 0, Mark 6 Mods. 0-1, and Mark 15 Mod. 0 (OP 1688)
- USN Aircraft Fire Control System MK 16 MOD 2 (OD 7815)
- USN Rocket Sight (Aircraft) Mark 1 Mod. 0 (OP 1478)
- USN Gun Sight Mark 20 Mods. 6-7 ( OP 1870)
- USN Aviation Ordnance Equipment Catalogue (OP 865)

Have quite a few manuals that I would happily send scans in exchange for any of the above (Torpedo Director Mk 30, K-13 instructions for installation, manuals on the N-2, N-3, N-6, N-8, N-9, USN Mk 8, USN Mk 23, K-3, K-4, K-11, K-14, K-15, K-17, … and quite a few on British and French Gunsights).

Interesting start to an aircraft gunsight website! I hope you stick with it, there's not much detailed info on the web for this subject so I hope I can help in some way. I've been collecting bits and pieces for a few years, in an effort to put a working gunsight and reflector on my father's SNJ-5. Gunsight manuals, I quickly discovered, are very hard to find. At least they are for gun turrets anyway. Most of my turret manuals barely cover the gunsight for the turret, and they say even less about how to service it or take it apart. I would say that the Navy Air Crew Gunners Manual has the most information on gunsights and it is almost always available in hard copy form or as a DVD scan on eBay. I'll see what I can find in my collection and PM you but from what I can see from your post, you probably already have the largest collection of gunsight manuals known to exist!

In fact, most if not all those manuals are availble at NARA (National Archives) but, as i live the other side of the ocean, going there myself to copy them would probably make those photocopies the most expensive ones in history.
