I heard the news today that the National warplane museum is going back to geneseo. I'd like to know what that all means. What aircraft are going to be coming or going to/from the grounds and hangars of geneseo? What does this mean for HAG?

I remember the good old days of the greatest show on turf when it was the run by the National warplane museum. The days of B-17's Fuddy Duddy and Kathleen (which I believe is now "beoing bee"?), the PBY etc. The huge airshows with 4-5 B-17's, a B-24 and a lancaster! What are the odds of those days returning? Not saying the current show is bad but it aint what it once was...(I havent missed a show since 04, I was in iraq that year).

Any and all info on this is appreciated, especially from people directly involved

Already being discussed here. http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49596

The entity that originally broke off from the group in Geneseo that took the name "National Warplane Musuem" with them, and setup shop in Elmira are still there. They've since rehabilitated a former indoor horse arena off site from the airport. They've also changed their name from the National Warplane Museum to the Wings of Eagles Discovery Center. http://www.wingsofeagles.com I assume there now completely a static museum. I don't think you will see any of the aircraft from Elmira return to Geneseo but that would be a nice surprise.

Since the name change I've assumed the 1941 HAG has been quietly preparing to reclaim the old name. And I'm very glad to see that it's happened.
