"Somewhere" in the Antelope Valley.... :D Never know what your gonna find out there right? That F-8 cockpit looks interesting too.

Wow, we could really use some parts off of that CH-21 to help us restore Shaky Magoo! Where is it located? Think the owner might be willing to part it out? Oh, and dig the fenders on the main wheels!!! 8)

The "F-8" cockpit looks to be almost a complete fuselage (it's sitting on all three legs). Not sure it's a Crusader. Might be an A-7?

i'd go with the theory it's an A - 7 corsair as the crusader's air intake was more elongated while the A-7'S was more rounded as this example is.

Put these coordinates into Google Maps and you can see the aircraft in question from outer space! :D

They used to have a yard on hwy 58 in Mojave. The yard is still there, but don't know if they still own it. They had at least one F-111 at that time. The son of the owner used to live in North Edwards, CA...don't know if he still does.

P.S. The big buzzard statue near the Piaseki is neat too!

The Mojave yard had been cleared of aircraft by October 2009. It had two F-111s:

EF-111A 66-0047, which went to Silver Springs NV
F-111B 152714, which disappeared

The helicopter cockpit in the next to last photo is a Bell 222 (or 430...but probably 222).
I was on their website yesterday and saw it. Didn't see anything about H-21/A-7/F-101 etc.

This is cool. Found a pic of the H-21 from back in 1979...
