Just wondering whether anyone has details on what appeared to be a small aircraft boneyard beside Highway 6 heading in to Hamilton, Ontario. I was passing through on my way to the CWH show, and didn't have time to stop, but I could clearly see several interesting types in the weeds, including a Beech 18 and I think a T-33 amongst a hive of other partial airframes. I did a googlemaps search, and found a possible location (see below) which also appears to have a grass air strip as well.

Anyone have more information?

Cheers,
Richard

That's Ken Gamble's former salvage yard, which is now looked after by Wixer fleet16b

The Harvard that used to reside there has been restored an is now on display at Trenton. (on the mezzanine above the Halifax)

Many thanks for the information! I would love to have stopped in to say hello, but I'm guessing everyone was at the show :D

Next time maybe.

Cheers,
Richard

PS. Thanks very much also for the fascinating collection of photos too!
