Huh??

After I first posted this a few years back my phone rang and there was laughing on the other end. Turned out to good ol' Gary Austin
who teased me relentlessly about that till he passed.

Thanks for checking in here, Jack!
It's a shame out of all those planes on the Nimitz, the only one left in service is the F/A-18.

Super-groovy stuff, Jack.
When it comes to NAVAIR, I'm a Tomcat man, but I'm really diggin' those SLUFs and reserve Intruders.

Well He11 Jack, I was putting myself into timeout for over reacting to that wing walking accident 1st & then after some help with my buddy James Beam, I misunderstood some comments from some of our fellow WIXer's (that I wish would delete my comments they "quoted"), really showed my ass (make no mistake, I am passionate about aviation safety, air shows, & everything else in my 30 something years of this professional addiction) and decided to take a break, well Hell, here you are back & I just have to say how cool it is to see you share with us again.
I was looking for the guy with his hands in his pockets!

Thanks Jack. Don't be a stranger on account of the odd idiot.
I think of Gary all the time. He will remain the most influential person that I never met.
