and speaking again of howard hughes......

from the same publication general aviation news, it was announced that long time hughes employee / confidante jack real died sept. 6th at age 90 from heart failure. he began his career at lockheed & contributed on several designs including the lodestar & sr-71 blackbird. he met hughes in 1957, & was an advisor to hughes until the world's 1st billionaire died in 1976. real was also a major participant in getting the hughes flying boat to be moved to the evergreen aviation museum in mcminnville oregon.
