I assume it is an "A" model. Any idea what Squadron?

I wonder if all the "D"s are going into the storage?

Some Ohio National Guard are comming back in from overseas and are returning to MAPS. A couple days later Amy Grant will be performing for the troops and some other people I believe. October 11. It has something to do with her new show on NBC, "Three Wishes"

Do they plan to leave the current markings or repaint in the markings of a specific squadron?

We will prolly just leave it in these markings due to money and other projects (like the Century Series). Also the squadron is the same that shot down two Mig 23s in 1989. As soon as the demil team gets done I believe it will be power washed to clean it up and do some other little details.

The rumor mill has it that the instruments, ejection seats and alot of the cocpit will be removed by the demill team. Also the engines and and " black boxes". Anyone in Ohio please write your Congressman/woman to try to keep the aircraft as intact as possible.
