Ebay seat question

Thu Dec 26, 2013 10:04 pm

I've been collecting parts to build a P-47 cockpit from scratch (saving up for the ~ $650 cost of the drawings from the Smithsonian) , but I found this seat and to me it looks like it could be used. What are your thoughts? I haven't studied the styles of seats, but I think to the ignorant eye, it could work.

For a mock-up cockpit, there is no reason why this seat could not be used.

There are a couple guys on the H.A.M.B. rod site that build aluminum a/c seats. Send them a pic and they could build you a near perfect replica..
