I hope this is the correct place to post this.

As occasionally happens with Wikipedia, I started drifting through all sorts of info on an unrelated matter, and ended up looking up a local plane that we have near the post office in Chandler, Arizona. I found two pages:

http://www.warbirdregistry.org/jetregis ... 06261.html

http://www.warbirdregistry.org/jetregis ... 10115.html

Although given different s/n, these are in fact the same plane on display. I'm certain we don't have two.

Didn't see any way to contact whomever constructed those pages, so perhaps someone here can clear up this apparent discrepancy on the website.

Nice find! and welcome to the WIX :supz: :drinkers: the different s/n's are to confuse the eye witnesses and the cops  Sounds like a brain cramp on someones part.

The problem is one of paint!
The serial number painted on this F-86 is NOT it's actual serial number. This happens a lot when dedicating a restoration to a particular pilot or to represent a particular aircraft.
