Warbird Information Exchange

It might be of interest for one or another, that there is a new homepage featuring the flying aircraft (if not down due to repair that is)
of Messerschmitt Stiftung (Foundation) / EADS (now Airbus). It features all of the aircraft, pictures and videos as well as additional information. At the moment German language only. There are quite interesting videos, youtube channel as well, with more to come. I hope you enjoy it.

All of them are converted Buchons, done at various times by various different groups, so any differences should be regarded with caution when trying to differentiate sub-types of original 109 from detail differences.

I hope they manage to get out and about this year, as all three 109s and the 262 were all either broken or under maintenance for most of last season. That one is the only northern hemisphere 262 (real or replica) that I've not yet seen.

@TriangleP: I have no idea if this "gap" isn´t just due to the position of the pic taken, or if there is one in reality. But you might want to see how MeierMotors are recreating the upper cowling for the G-6 "Black 8" (AirFighter Academy / Hangar 10, formerly Michael Rinner, Austria):
