Interesting photo. Anyone able to make out the serial? Definitely a B-24A from both the data plate stenciled on the plane and the appearance, but would be interesting to see what serial number. I'm pretty certain it's not 927 as the S/N appears to end in a 9, but would still be nice to know which of her sisters it was.

That looks like a photo of a photo; scanning the "hard copy" would make it readable.

Doubt it, depth of field of a 40's era speed graphic would be limited, the focus (literally) of the photo is the centre group of people not the aircraft behind it

Might be B-24A 40-2374, which was part of the Harriman mission and continued on to the Middle East. Time frame seems about right. My 2 cents.
