After some absence, a recent review of our (Australia) registry reveals a number of new aircraft.

1 x Douglas Invader B26-C currently under repair at Archerfield Qld

2 x Supermarine Spitfires, being BS 219 and BS 234 - NFD

and the removal or transfer of 1 x P-40N.

All of the above are listed against the same owner in South Australia and some may recall my past questioning about possible spitfire recoveries
by this group. If the Australian Registry is correct, then this would be the fourth Spitfire recovered by this group, the third recovery or transfer of
a P-40 - remembering there is a K model under construction at Precision Aerospace at Wangaratta and the following,

Wanted any Lancer parts, patterns or information on wreck sites, or any feedback on follow ups to the potential whereabouts of anything P-43, anything considered, genuine input sought. This I a genuine effort to consolidate parts to create a viable rebuild project of this type. Some parts have already been secured.

happy to discuss with any interested parties, future prospects for this type.

I recall receiving a number of negative phone calls and emails in regards to the release of information regarding a recovery of a P-43 out of Wagga.

A search of Barnstormers, warbirds, and then republic will provide more evidence including some photo's.

while I'd like to say I told you so, I won't as I do not wish to upset anyone regarding their privacy. All this information is publically available.

My point exactly.

A quick search shows BS219 is A58-84 aka "Jimmy Cricket" and BS234 is A58-95 aka CRC squadron coded for RAAF Squadron Leader C.Caldwell

The invader will make a nice addition to the warbird circuit and will take the number of WW2 bomber types in Australia to 2 flying. The other

being the Hudson at Temora (happy to have more examples added but I have excluded the Catalina's). The P-40N is 42-104949, a 49th FG veteran.

The last information I had on this was it was next in line after the current K model came out of the jig. I've also read on several for sale sites that

this K model was for sale and has now been sold, once again NFD. My biggest interest is with the P-43, as the ad clearly shows a number of parts

and republic aviation plate. I'd like to know more about the P-43 but given past experiences I shall adopt the wait and see approach
