We visited Rick Svetkoff and Ciacchi few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to ask few questions. Luigino Caliaro took the pictures.

What do you guys think of the new paint scheme?

Personally ,I am not crazy for it but the F-104 would look good event if covered with Duct tape!

From the article it sounds like they were painted in that color for a specific custromer/role- my guess is to be an agressor/mimick a SU-27- I believe there are some Su-27's (and SU-27 family) in similiar colors around the world....

I like the overall blue much better, but like you say a F-104 looks great in anything, just happy they are still flying.

Not much was disclosed to us but they are definitely going to do some "Aggressor" work for the DOD.
