Are you referring to the P-61 as a whole? If so, its an original that was taken off a mountain from Papa New Guinea IIRC. It is being restored to flight.

The engine is not a running unit, only being used to get all the wiring and link up worked out. As I understand it, they are looking to acquire two zero-timed R2800 engines from Anderson Aeromotive.
Would make sense the essentially the entire aircraft has been "zero-timed" really exciting times. So much blood sweat and tears have gone into this bird. A shame there aren't more.
Apparently aside from the Beijing P-61, China has allegedly claimed they have two additional P-61s in storage for 2m a piece. Any truth to this?
