Mon Apr 28, 2014 9:16 am

Gary was asked to paint the new nose art. This summer he will travel out to Madras to paint the new name and artwork on the B-17′s fuselage.

I heard rumor that the airplane may get repainted as well, not sure if and when it will happen.

Two questions....was Madras Maiden the name of a B-17 in WWII? Second question, if it is not the name of a B-17 used during WWII, how long until someone complains about the audacity of the new owners picking a paint scheme they like, and are paying for, but is not "original"? :lol: *

It might happen in the future, but nothing has been discuss nor decided yet.

Sorry, but it's the first thing that came to mind:
There once was a maid from Madras
Who had a magnificent a$$.
Not rounded and pink,
as you’d possibly think;
It was gray, had long ears, and ate grass.

:lol: :axe:
