Well not quite yet, but have posted this on another site

REPUBLIC LANCER P-43 • INFORMATION WANTED • Thanks to Dave and Dan who have responded and provided parts or details of P-43 parts, patterns or wreck sites, This collection is growing with parts supplied being added to our own Lancer remains. Further genuine input sought and appreciated. Specifically looking for the rest of the parts from the Earl Reinert collection, Also looking for P-47D Razorback forward windscreen parts as these remained the same. This is a serious venture so only genuine feedback is sought.

I've made numerous attempts at contacting possible owners of the Reinerts remains without success, being here in Australia makes it difficult and some people would thinks its some kind of scam. I need help on the ground to try and find out what happened to the remaining pieces in this collection. I have some already from a third party but want and need the rest. Would appreciate any help. I have also been advised there are some remains with private collectors, if they would like to contact me perhaps we can discuss some options for sell, trade or loan for pattern making.

Hi Digger
I am located in the same general area where the Earl Reinerts Collection use to be located. Visited there many times growing up. Send me a PM and I can see what I can uncover locally.

Thanks HTE

After our many emails I came to realise that I couldn't do this by myself, so whatever turns up can be added to the existing parts.

Even if it turns out to be a display of parts in its many forms, it can still represent something that previously didn't exist before.

If all the leads turn up something like they have from Dave and Dan, then this will be a good result for WIX and show just what can be

achieved. I now have links with like minded people in China, India and the USA. I hope to visit the crash site of the Lancer that crashed

in Victoria, Australia soon but that will depend on other events currently coming together. We have a saying here in Australia and I am sure its

a familiar one all over, when it rains, it pours.

I personally love the P-43. Being a Melbournite, if you need help digging in Victoria drop me a line, I'd be happy to wield a shovel.
