One bit of aviation history not mentioned in the link is that the Chrysler plant...then assigned to Plymouth...built many of the fuselages for Grumman Albatrosses in the late 50s.

They were then trucked to Grumman for final assembly.

Remember the vets, the wonderful planes they flew and their sacrifices for a future many of them did not live to see.
