Warbird Information Exchange

Don't want to hijack the other thread. I personally like the Tora segment. Several weeks ago at the WOH airshow we had 4 Pearl Harbor survivors as our guest in the autograph tent. A buddy of mine owns two WWII vehicles and participates in front of the flight line as part of the Tora re-enactment (6th cav.div.). I was able to arrange with ground ops to get these great men to ride in his Command car to watch the performance right up in front. They were thrilled! After the segment we gave them a parade in front of the crowd as the announcer introduced them. The applause was tremendous. Lets not forget history. there are many children who attend airshows and it is important that they learn from these events. Here are some pics
