A kick-off meeting for the first annual Atlanta Warbird Weekend (AWW) will be held, tomorrow, July 12 at 11am in the CAF Dixie Wing Briefing Room. The goal of the kick-off meeting is to provide members with a program overview and recruit volunteers and team leaders.
The Atlanta Warbird Weekend will be held Sept 27-28 at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport and will feature rides in Airbase Arizona's B-17 Sentimental Journey and the Dixie Wing's P-51, SBD and LT-6. The goal of the weekend is to increase awareness of the CAF in metropolitan Atlanta and generate revenue in rides and PX sales for the Dixie Wing.
