Sweet ride! And configured for passengers no less. I assumed all the surviving Commandos were set up as freight haulers. Are there any still flying with the original four-blade Curtiss Electric props?

If I had $250k to blow, i'd be on my way to Bolivia. I'd strip the interior out and repaint in authentic 1944-45 markings.

Might be a good aircraft for an organization looking to offer flight experiences. I bet the right organization could make a ride program work! I wouldn't be in any hurry to retire that paint scheme either... that's sharp!

Forget a Learjet when I win the lotto I'm buying one of these, I suspect they are more fun to fly too.

I always thought the Commando had more... character... than the C-47... but I still want both :)

They also have a good looking C-117 for sale as well.

I happen to be looking last night at the inventory (I have courtesy, platinum, controller and barnstormer all bookmarked lol) and the super R4D was not listed. When I just went to look at it, I also noticed that the Mossy is no longer listed, but it was last night. However, there was never a sale pending label added, so I'm guessing the listing just expired.

and it's a D model! :supz: I'd buy it and paint it in 1950's USAF markings of white top and polished NMF on the bottom!
