Here is a link to the Fire Aviation website which has a fine two minute video clip of tanker drops on the Courtney Fire in California. I believe that the Air Attack put this together. It is a Vimeo clip and should show a DC-10 dropping in the display. This is just a link to the website, so some scrolling might be necessary, although the clip was at the top of the page at this time. This is a safe website that I have visited for years.

Thanks Larry for posting that video. Amazing stuff. Sad to see the Oakhurst area look like that. :(

We've had several out of region Air Attacks in Medford over the past month to handle the fire complexes across the border in California and some local fires. I believe that this crew arrived from the Roswell, New Mexico Tanker Base.

912 was just approved within the last few weeks to be used. I would love to have the job where I am able to fly an airliner like most people do in flight simulator!
