Warbird Information Exchange

Don't know if you guys are interested but here are some photos from about 1990 of my father and I at the former Champlin Museum. Dad's gone now but the photos represent a tie to the planes he flew in China, Burma, and India. He flew the Razorback and 38's the most while he was with the 60th FS of the 33rd FG from 44 through the end of the war.

I have a soon to be released book "Fire From the Clouds, Chronicles of a Fighter Pilot" coming that tells his story but all in scans of his actual letters home and his memoirs and photos. It covers his time in training (Primary, Basic, Advanced & RTU) through the end of the war.

Too bad I didn't have the book idea until Dad was gone.

The day was really sweet as they were about to run up Big Stud and let the both of us out on the ramp before and during the run up.

Thanks again, I knew I have seen it some where. We were there for an over night and took in the muesum and walked across the street to the Air Force One and Concord. Also, its the first place I know that displays the SR-71 Engine.
