In the Fall issue of the Air Force Museum Foundation's "Friends Journal" it has been announced that the Air Force Museum will host the 64th anniversary reunion of the Doolittle Raiders! This will be a public event with autograph sessions planned along with a dinner. There is no information about this event on the museum's website as of yet but more info will be forthcoming in the winter issue of the Friends Journal which comes out at the end of January. This sounds like a must event to attend because I dont believe there will be many more Doolittle reunions in the future, if any. The article says anyone who would like additional information at this time should contact Ms Leslie Greaser in the museum's special event depertment. She can be emailed at leslie.greaser@wpafb.af.mil. The article aslo says the Raiders goblets are being permanently transferred to the museum for display! I for one plan on going to this. Hope to see other WIX'ers there.

Holy B-25 batman, I forgot to give everyone the dates for the reunion. It is scheduled for April 18-20, 2006. Sorry for the omission.

Pat,

Do you happen to know how many of the 80 Tokyo Raiders still survive (in particular Col. William M. Bower, plane #12)?

Cheers,

Amado

I think it's still 17 as I haven't heard any news lately.
I believe Mr. Bower spoke at an event in Colorado last week or so.
