NOT MINE.

From time to time, I read some people saying that they wish they could buy / save / preserve some warbird related items.

I just found this on the interweb at Barnstormersdotcom:

AVIATION CO. INVENTORY AUCTION • ANNOUNCEMENT • Gray Auctions Co., VAAL#1104 has been contracted by VA Auction Co. Inc., VA#662 & the City of Emporia, VA to hold an Auction at 10:00 am on Tues. March 3, 2015 liquidating Aviation Equipment. This will be online and live. Items include: T28A Planes, Beech 18 Plane, Aircraft Oil Coolers, 8 Day Timers, New GE Batteries, WWII Practice Bombs, Sextant w/ components, Aircraft Helmets, Headsets, Yellow Tag B17 Engine Cyl., Manuals, New & Used Parts, Flight Equip, Rare Twin Mustang Parts & more. For information call Joe Gray at 804-943-3506. • Contact Joe Gray - GRAY AUCTIONS CO, Event Coordinator - located Waverly, VA USA • Telephone: 804-943-3506 . 4342463751 • Posted February 12, 2015

Unless there is a reserve on the items, you could end up owning a T-28A that you do not need to start restoring right away, but store and either work on it little by little, or sell later.

GOOD LUCK, Warbirderos of the world! :drink3: :drink3: :drink3: :drink3:

Saludos,

Tulio

T-28's look to be from the Mexican 205 Squadron and all are in pieces. The 18 is in pieces as well and is damaged pretty good. Complete restoration on everything by the looks of it.

Anybody got Tom Reilly's number? He probably knows but it'd be a shame if some F-82 stuff went under his radar.

Is anyone close to this auction?
I don't know if I could get the items to Australia with the help of the auctioneers they tend to want the winner to organize everything.
I'd love to bid on them manuals.
