The Hangar10 flying collection based in Germany has posted on their Facebook page that they have purchased the Spitfire Mk.XVIII (N280TP), which of course has been owned by the Frasca family for quite a long time. The aircraft, currently on display at the EAA Museum at Oshkosh, will be disassembled and shipped to MeierMotors in Germany, where it sounds like it may undergo quite a bit of work/rebuild before it flies again. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hangar10/274625062665594

...in other warbird news out of Germany, Jerry Yagen's Bf-109G had its first ground-run at MeierMotors yesterday. Photos and video can be seen here: http://meiermotors.com/index.php/projek ... ll&start=1
