Totally out of the loop any more. Please at least tell us that she will remain in one piece.

To put an end to the suspense as to what will happen to Lady Lodestar....She will be going to Pima County Air and Space Museum, Tucson, AZ. I am looking at going to Va. to take her apart at the end of this month.

Does Pima plan to restore the aircraft, or use it as a parts source for another project? Whatever the case, it's good to hear she won't be turned into beer cans. Kudos for aving her from the scrap heap, Gary!

The whole aircraft will not be saved, just the fuselage, although a lot of parts will go onto the museums other Lodestar for display. About all that I could have done if I had kept her.

Thanks for doing that Gary, as stated above, better than being recycled into cans! Thanks for the info!
