I peaked at the Shearwater Aviation Museum's Facebook, & there's a video of the FireFly, on all 3 gear, wings folded, cowling panels off, prop looking complete, and being towed out of the hanger by a Classic small tractor, followed by an engine run up. I just want to make sure, if this is the latest news IF Indeed it has been repaired after the accident, or ...an older video ? Just want to double check. If this IS proof of the FireFly being repaired , than Fantastic ! Sure hope so! http://Www.shearwateraviationmuseum.ns.ca

If it's the video named "Firefly engine run - July 28th", then it's an old video from 2010.

When I saw it a little over a year ago it was clear the damage was not minor. I was not allowed to take pictures. I was also told that it would not be a flyer even once it was repaired.

Unfortunately it was badly damaged during taxying trials and never flew, a tremendous shame considering the amount of work that went into it.

Such a shame that a perfectly airworthy aircraft was wrecked thanks to the Museum's piss-poor decision-making process.

There were perfectly qualified and experienced FireFly pilots to test fly the airplane at CWH
