Is it true that when fueling the airplane you must first put fuel in the rear aux tanks and then the front mains. This is done to avoid siphoning fuel from the front mains back to the rear aux tanks?

Hello. I do this every day on ours and I do fill the rear first generally because the dip stick is graduated in such a way that I can Add fuel to the rear tank and then stick the front with out waiting for the stick to dry. We leave our selectors on AUX when it's sitting and have found they don't transfer front to rear as it sits over night. That just what we do at our operation I'm sure like most DC-3/C-47 stuff, there are as many different ways of doing things as there are pilots.
