I remember hearing a Warbirdradio interview when TXFL first started and they explained who the founder was. I believe it was a very successful benefactor that worked on the Apollo program. I'll try to Google it and see if I can come up with the name again. I remember hearing in the interview that the guy was waiting for a flight one day, saw a magazine with a P-51 in it and decided they wanted one. :lol:
