Hi to all

a friend gave me a big propeller. He told me it come from bombardier plan in Wichita (formely Canadair). from what i see stamped on blade and my research, it may come from a war plane like hellcat, F4U. anyone have clue about those marking, especialy DWG no and MFG. The blade is 72 inch long and 12 inch wide. I have plenty pictures. I'm new on the site, I'm not sure how to post them

I sent the blade to a polishing shop, the blade came out mirroir finish and it now standind in the living room. I realy want to know more about this blade. thank you in advance

Hamilton Standard built a 6507A blade that went on a lot of different aircraft. with that blade number and shank number i would guess it came off something with a P&W R2800 on it.

This man is a diver, but he says: http://www.ncdivers.com/phpBB2/viewtopi ... =26&t=4712 he is known as Aquamaster, and has good info on the blades and A/c that it could fit,with 2800's.more than one A/c and more than one hub it could be bolted to.

The CL-215 has an R-2800 and it was a Canadiar plant...Just sayin

At a minimum, fits a Hamilton Standard 24E60, 24E50, 24EX, 33E60 and 33EX and should be right-hand rotation (clockwise from the pilot's view).
