The picture of Dixie in the mud reminded me that it was reported back around 2012 that a Marauder had been located in Papua 2 years prior in the jungle near the Kokoda Track. The article stated that the crew were all still strapped in their seats, and that U.S. officials retrieved the crews' remains. If I recall correctly, this was reported by a British journalist who was in New Guinea exploring the combat areas. Has any more come to light regarding this finding?
