The late Joe Mabee in Texas had a pair of T-34s back in the day. At least one of them wore Moroccan AF colors although I believe they only operated the C model. Has anyone ever shot any photos of this Mentor that can be posted? Similarly, has anyone any photos of Mabee's P-51D while in his ownership? This seem to have been a seldom photographed Mustang while in Texas.

Well, it seems Joe Mabee was very involved with the Confederate Air Force, but then quit and gave up on the Commemorative CAF. :?

His Obituary lists;
"The collection included the P-40 Warhawk, the Wildcat, the P-51 Mustang, the AT-6, the T-34, the biwing Waco, the Cessna 140 and 180, and the A-26 Invader. <and> restored AT-11."

I found a couple pictures of his "nude" P-51 on Curtis's site

I believe Joe's Mustang became 'Excaliber'

Here's the T-34A that your looking for. S/N G-697, I took at the CAF show in 1988, registered as N134JM.
Sorry about the quality, I'm without a scanner, so it's a picture of a picture I took.

This one was parked next to it, but registered as N2AU; since the other one had his initials for the registration, this may or may not have been his other one? N2AU was a Fuji A model, S/N CG-21. Maybe someone can look this registration or serial number up to see who it was registered to back in 1988.

Edit: after looking at the T-34 association pdf mentioned above, sounds like his other T-34 may have also worn Moroccan markings.

Thanks to everyone who posted photos here. Seems Mabee didn't travel far with his airplanes.
