We flew the T-41B over to Lake City this weekend 4/9 and 4/10 to see the air show and it was spectacular. The Thunderbirds were as good as I have ever seen them and it was worth the trip just to see the Vampire go thru it's routine along with the Corsair and P-51 Mustang.

The BT-13 aerobatic routine was a thing of beauty and energy management and very well done. If you missed it this year you should put it on your must see list for next year. Tremendous small town hospitality and great people where ever we went.

It is a great show to fly in to with the TFR times clearly posted and the tower was great to work with. High on my list of shows to attend.

When I lived in Florida, we used to do Civil War re-enactments and would go to Olustee every year. We'd pass through Lake City when going there and would sometimes see that field. I seem to recall seeing C-130s on it a few times many moons ago.
But to this very day, I had no idea they ever had airshows there...
