I watched a couple of Periscope videos from the Pacific Aviation Museum on Monday April 18th where they announced that they have a Japanese Kate and will be restoring it to static display. Lots of pieces still missing and they are looking for anyone with Kate pieces to contact them. Major parts still missing include the engine and prop, outboard wing and fuselage from cockpit back to tail. In the video you could still see the Hinomaru on the wing and they showed where pieces had been cut away from the plane. The Kate was being shown in front of their B-17E Swamp Ghost.
