I was looking around for other shows in Indiana to go to since the Indy show called it quits a couple years ago. This site is showing dates for an Indy airshow in October this year yet the website doesn't work and there hasn't been any activity on the Facebook page. Anybody know anything more?

I'm guessing that's for the Red Bull Air Race in October. Although, there is this:

http://www.indyairexpo.org

Given the dates and that there isn't more concrete information at this point, I'm highly skeptical that there will be much of an airshow in Indy this year.

I'm optimistic about the CAF Warbird Expo in a couple weeks at Mount Comfort (SORRY, Indy Regional  ). Looks like a pretty nice lineup and a good opportunity to at least see some local warbirds. Maybe if that event is successful they will be able to grow a larger event off that success.

Last I saw it was the B-25 and TBM - what else?

It's just the CAF B-25, TBM and P-51, but there should be a good turnout of L-Birds, Yaks, T-6s, etc. The resident Harpoon should also be on static. Nothing spectacular, but should be a pretty fun event.

That is what I had heard...so wasn't sure if that had changed. Essentially what the "Fishers" Open House the past few years has been.

How was it? I am actually out at Chino right now but was wondering how the crowds were and what all showed up.

It was pretty good. Heavy iron turnout was two P-51s, B-25 and TBM, plus the resident Harpoon on static. "Show Me" was unable to make it, but the show was able to secure "Champaign Gal" from Champaign Aviation museum as a replacement. Lots of trainers and L-birds, plus a couple helicopters showed up as well. I stayed from when the gates opened until around 1:45 and most of the aircraft there flew except one of the P-51s. They put a lot of aircraft up in the air together at 11:00 for a warbird flight that was pretty cool.

Not sure what to think of the crowd. It seemed really thin, but then again there weren't a ton of tickets available so I don't know how it compared to what they were projecting. I hope they did well at the gate because I really felt like I got my money's worth. Had a good time and thought the warbird turnout was worth the trip.

It sounds like the Harpoon is getting closer to being back in the air and the AMHF is fundraising for a building to house her in. I really hope they are able to make both of those things happen.
