I recieved this e-mail.

Can anyone figure out what this tool is?

Thanks!

During WWII I was in the Army Air Force and stationed at Goodfellow AFB (San Angelo, TX) training base.
BT-13's were a basic trainer at the time. I worked on the flight line waiting to go to pre-flight school. While working the flight line I was give a small "hand tool" to open up the inspection panels on the BT-13. I still have this tool and was wondering what it was officially called. It was specially used to open what I recall being a "zeus fasterner". It has the name "Vultee" on both sides and someone carved the name "bull" on one side. Please reference the attached photo of this item. Any information that you or others could provide regarding this item, would be greatly appreciated.

it is a Dzuz tool, AKA a Snoopy. Used to open panels secured with Dzuz fastners

Mine was given to me by Howard Branch who was P-51 ace Bob Goodnight's crew chief in the 354th FG.
