Stainless steel glider.

Further developed into the Budd Conestoga.

CORRECTION:

The photo shows an airplane that has already seen service (and looks like it had engines on it at some time) so it is not the glider, but the Budd Conestoga.

Surviving Budd RB-1 Conestoga is on outside display in a corner of the Pima Air & Space Museum.

This aircraft features a stainless steel exterior that is all welded and uses no rivets IIRC. It also has a raised flight deck (above the cargo level), clam shell doors on the front and the integral rear loading ramp.
